Bubblefest was a blast!

It's time for Bubblefest XV at the Discovery Science Center! No pictures allowed during the super amazing, awe-inspiring, fabulous show but I did take this one at the end...the joy of all these children squealing and jumping around in this storm of bubbles was beautiful. There is a simplicity about bubbles that can make anyone jump up and act like a child.

After the show we were able to play and make our own bubbles. Mrs. Harris helped Jill blow bubbles. And Adam, Beth & Jason figured it out and were happily making bubbles on their plates. They also figured out how to make their fingers soapy and then stick their fingers safely into their bubbles.

Then they could make BIG bubbles outside.Beth learned from the show...here she is putting her hand through a bubble... And making two bubbles at once! I think she could do her own show!
She even figured out to use her hands as bubble wands (this would have been more impressive as a video but those 2 bigger bubbles, one on each hand, were blown by her gently blowing through her soapy fingers.)Jill enjoyed the bubbles but got a bit overwhelmed as she became covered in them! (and Adam is off playing with the dinosaurs. I guess he had had enough bubbles for one day :)All in all, I think friends and bubbles make for a pretty good Monday :)
