Here we are celebrating our last day being a nice and even family for tomorrow Adam will be 5!

We went to dinner at Ruby's (Adam's choice). The Boys & The Girls 
Adam wanted to go because he wanted ice cream. Well he got ice cream and then some! We ordered shakes for everyone AND THEN the Ruby's crew came over and sang Happy Birthday to Adam handing him this ice cream sundae! Yikes, that's a double dessert for the birthday boy!
Andrew and I put the kids to bed and began working on Adam's cake. He wanted a Mario Bros. cake. We decided to make cupcakes and to set up a scene from the game. It was a lot more challenging than we thought but we pulled off a few winning pieces, and the stuffed animals added a lot!
Good Morning Birthday Boy! We had pancakes and sausage at Adam's request but he was too busy enjoying Bowser, the newest member of his stuffed animal family.
All Adam wanted to do for his birthday is play Mario with his favorite friend Devan. So here is Adam with Devan playing Mario Bros. on the Wii.
They had so much fun. We did manage to pull them away long enough to go swimming, and then they again took a break long enough to enjoy cake!
Here Devan helps Adam blow out his sparkler candles.
Woo hoo! A new Mario shirt (the one Adam is wearing is a pajama shirt that he has adapted to a daytime tee!) Thank you Devan!
Adam, you've grown in so many ways this past year that I can only begin to imagine what this year will bring. Love you, Adam!
